Teaching Artist

Dance instructor Barbara Bernstein has taught Salsa full time for over 15 years. She holds a Ph.D. in Education with expertise in teaching methods. She has taught children of all ages as well as adults, and adapted Latin dance lessons to school programs that combine music and movement with Mathematics and Social Studies. In addition, she runs team building programs using music and dance. She has produced a short documentary film about the great popularity of Salsa dancing worldwide. Bernstein's company, DanceInTimeProductions has taught and/or performed nationally and internationally (in San Francisco, New York, Miami, Vancouver, London, Ireland, Washington DC, Puerto Rico, etc.).
