Arts Every Day Welcomes Five New Board Members

Arts Every Day is pleased to welcome 5 new board members for 2018!  Our board works diligently to ensure we uphold our mission and operate ethically and effectively.  A diverse board has the ability to pool resources from various backgrounds and networks to ensure a sustainable future for the arts in Baltimore City.

Antieris Johnson is a passionate problem solver and visionary who exists to be a catalyst for positive change. She received her B.A. degree in Integrated Arts from the University of Baltimore as well as her M.S. degree in Nonprofit Management and Social Entrepreneurship. Antieris is the founder of a Community Action Program (CAP) called Art Adopts a Child that seeks to raise awareness for adoption and help foster youth successfully transition into adulthood. In 2014, Antieris was honored with a Leading Women Under 40 award by The Daily Record for her work with Art Adopts a Child. Some of her accomplishments include an installation and dedication of a mural in Baltimore, and coordinating a tour of the White House in 2014 for youth in the KidsPeace Empowering Youth to Succeed mentoring program.


Brian D. Katzenberg
is an attorney for Cohen, Snyder, Eisenberg & Katzenberg P.A. Mr. Katzenberg is dedicated to representing workers and individuals who have experienced injury on the job or elsewhere. Mr. Katzenberg lives in Baltimore City and is active in a range of volunteer organizations. In particular, he is co-chair of Courting Art Baltimore through the Bar Association for Baltimore City, which is an art contest that provides scholarships to Baltimore City high school students and installs their artwork in local court houses. Mr. Katzenberg graduated from the University of Virginia and earned his J.D. from the University of Maryland, School of Law.


Ronald McFadden
 
is a musician, educator, and advocate for educational equity in America’s urban communities. Reared in Prince George’s County, Maryland, Mr. McFadden is a classically trained baritone receiving his B.A. in Music, and his M.A. in Teaching degrees from Morgan State University in Baltimore. McFadden is currently the choral director & Chairperson of the Department of Performing Arts at Southwest Academy Magnet School for Science & Engineering in the Baltimore County Public School System and currently sits on the Baltimore City Public School Board of Commissioners. In addition to public education, Ronald maintains an active voice studio, and is an Associate Director with the Singing Sensations Youth Choir Inc. He is a member of the National Educators Association (NEA), the National Association for Music Education (NAfME), the Maryland Music Educators Association (MMEA), and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity of America Inc.


Maria Rodriguez
 is an employment, business and commercial litigator with experience in pharmaceuticals, employment, trade secret, business tort and libel cases. She is also a member of Venable’s appellate practice group and has handled appeals before the Maryland Court of Special Appeals, the Maryland Court of Appeals and the Third, Fourth, Ninth and Eleventh Circuit Courts of Appeals.  In the past few years, Maria has obtained asylum for many immigrants, including unaccompanied minor children. Fluent in Spanish, and broadly educated (American Literature and History, Psychology, and Law), Maria brings a wide frame of reference to her work with Venable clients. Her writing skills were recently recognized when she was named to be and served as editor-in-chief of Litigation magazine.


Anne Marie Stringer
is a strategic digital creative leader on the Global Customer Experience Marketing team at Stanley Black & Decker. Prior to her current position, Anne Marie gained creative leadership experience at some of the top advertising agencies in Baltimore. Anne served as board secretary for the Potters Guild of Baltimore and has been an active member/owner for over a decade.
