The Treasure Box LLC, founded by Tarshai Peterson, is a Maryland-based youth development and performing arts company dedicated to empowering children and teens through creative expression, academic enrichment, and personal growth. The company focuses on fostering academic excellence, artistic development, and overall well-being, offering dynamic programs that nurture young people’s talents and confidence.
Tarshai Peterson, with 15 years of experience in arts education, has served as a Certified Theatre Educator, Teaching Artist, Director, Playwright, Curriculum Writer, and Mentor Teacher in schools and arts organizations. She holds a degree in Theatre from Bennett College and a Master’s in Educational Theatre from New York University. Her passion for supporting young people's academic and creative growth is the driving force behind The Treasure Box LLC, creating spaces where youth can excel and thrive.
