Program / Event Details

Students will explore their role as an individual and as a member of their classroom community, using learned skills in handbuilding and mosaics. Participants will create personal mosaics with hand built tiles, illustrating the many aspects of their personality. This class will culminate in a display of all individual mosaics together, showing the individual as a part of the whole.

Classes can be customized to fit with current class subjects and time frames. We prefer to work with about 24 students at a time (we will bring an assistant or two for larger classes). Classes meet once a week for 2 hours at each meeting. Again, Clayworks can customize the class to fit educational goals and scheduling.
