This workshop promotes meeting students where they are through culturally responsive teaching preparing teachers to thrive in urban environments. Participants will be able to analyze their current approach to instruction and delve into creating a culture of learning that promotes differentiated instruction meeting the needs of socioeconomic and culturally diverse students.
