Multi media artist who developed "Seeding Circles" which focuses on allowing students to practice self-regulation, active listening ,while learning ways to soothe their nervous system. Gathering in a circle , each student takes a turn checking in, and answering a "question of the day," while others practice listening with respect and kindness. Simple breathing techniques and practices are taught and practiced. Murals incorporating paint, mosaics, painted silk, woven multi-media are made for the school that help bring color and beauty to the location and remind the students to practice bringing beauty to themselves and their world.
