This production opens with a Shakespearean clown performing a series of funny Shakespearean monologues to prepare for his audition for the newly-crowned King James I in 1603. Students are invited to join in the action as minor characters. This hilarious Shakespeare assembly is a fun introduction to Shakespeare and his timeless work.

Discount for Title 1 Stipend schools:
Access for All Grant Program covers up to 80% of the total cost including travel. Maryland State Arts Council Visiting Performers Grant can cover up to 1/3 of the cost for all assembly programs.
