Stories Make the World Residency

Everyone has a story to tell.
Through autobiographical storytelling students learn how to craft a three- to five-minute story that reflects on personal experience and uses design thinking strategies to build empathy and understanding of the world around them.
In this program, students work with a Baltimore Center Stage Teaching Artists to write, rehearse, and present a short story of their own. Classroom teachers find new ways to engage students through writing. The residency will culminate in a mini In-School Story Slam.
