During this virtual residency, our youth media-makers will continue to experience the Root Branch Film Academy’s approach to filmmaking by creating either a PSA or short documentary-style film as a class on a topic of their choice. They will learn the process of pre-production planning, filming production, and post-production editing.  They will learn creative concept development, script-writing and interviewing skills and all that goes into creating a media project from script to screen.  Most importantly, they will learn first hand the many benefits of being experienced and equipped with skills in digital media particularly as we all continue to learn to work, socialize and stay connected during these socially distance times.
