Rebecca Brawner – Animated Dreams
In this stop-motion animation residency, students use visual arts, reading and writing to create interpretive videos of their dreams. Students write, shoot, and star in their own animation shorts. Students learn about the interpretation of dreams from different cultures and practice finding meaning and themes in their own dreams. The students’ dreams come to life in the surreal, creative and captivating videos they create and cherish.

Cost:
Typically, residencies range from $2,500 to $3,500, but we can use your available budget and ‘work backwards’ to create a cost-effective residency for your school. We may be able to assist you in securing grant and funding opportunities.
Discount for Title 1 Stipend schools:
Access for All Grant Program covers up to 80% of the total cost including travel. Maryland State Arts Council Artist In Residence Grant can cover up to 40% of all residency programs.
