What’s a Monster Mouth?
Design and build an imagined creature using force and air pressure!  Create a system of pistons and cylinders that move air from here to there using push and pull forces – and make a creature with a giant moving mouth.

STEM concepts included:
Pneumatics: apply force to move parts with air pressure.
Cause and effect: observe patterns of motion.

Skills Built:
Communication: express clearly needs and asking for help.
Reflect: form questions about materials and explain the knowledge gained during the experience.

Student Materials include:
Pistons, plastic tube, cardboard, sticky foam.

Program Format and Pricing: 
Synchronous virtual program – $385 per classroom facilitated by FutureMakers coach. Instructional materials delivered to your school in advance, along with a virtual planning session for participating staff. 45-minute program includes virtual visit from FutureMakers coaches, and access to slides for program, and individually packaged materials for each learner.

Materials-only program – $178.50 per classroom with FREE educator-guided activity slides

Parent Night Project Station—Materials Only—$297.50 per 50 participants with free live virtual coaching available to staff / volunteers prior to event.
