Modern Cameo Workshop

In this workshop, students will create a pendant or brooch using drawing and basic metalsmithing skills. Students will etch an image onto copper sheet using electrolytic etching and then turn the piece into a wearable brooch (or pendant). A brief history of art jewelry including the significance of brooches will be covered.
