Making Movies
$3,000.00

Students use storybuilding techniques to create an original script and then produce a movie. Lots of opportunities for students with every strength and competency, including performing, writing, scribing, directing, focusing lights, running cameras, holding microphones, graphic design, editing, writing music and more. ELA (writing), Science of Light and Sound, Social Studies (dramaturgy), and Math (angles, time calculations, proportions & ratios, measurements) are all included. This culminates in a screening at Art Play Learn that doubles as a fund raiser for the school to invest in anything it needs! **If the school has an appropriate space and the right equipment, a screening at the school may be possible.
