Music is All Around Us encourages students to connect the world around them to music. Students learn and practice musical elements that help them listen to the world more acutely. Students work in teams to apply animal and nature sounds to create and perform “Animal Orchestras.”

Cost:
Typically, residencies range from $2,000 to $3,500, but we can use your available budget and ‘work backwards’ to create a cost-effective residency for your school. We may be able to assist you in securing grant and funding opportunities.
Discount for Title 1 Stipend schools:
Access for All Grant Program covers up to 80% of the total cost including travel. Maryland State Arts Council Artist In Residence Grant can cover up to 40% of all residency programs.
