Program / Event Details

This arts integrated workshop will help students to unpack and understand world history subjects in a creative and engaging way, via poetry and performance. Unique Robinson will collaborate with the world history, US History, or Social Studies teachers at City Schools and charter schools to perform, and spark discussions regarding history from their poetry. This workshop will also allow students to unpack how history influences the present and possible future, and our present day circumstances, and encourage students to imagine themselves beyond this timeline.

Unique Robinson is an award-winning Poet & Professor with over 20 years of performance experience, and 7 years teaching with Baltimore City School students, grades K-12.
