Maryland freedom fighter Harriet Tubman, an important figure to the Underground Railroad network helped over 60 enslaved people escaped. During the Civil War, she worked as a spy and nurse for the Union Army. See a compelling dramatic work performed by community artist Denise Higgs about this heroine’s life as Harriet reflects on family, freedom and courage.
