This workshop explores the concept of inspiration and the creative process through the art – and music – of Bauhaus artist Paul Klee. A talented violinist himself, KleeÕs paintings are filled with allusions to dreams, poetry and music. WeÕll discover the musical elements in KleeÕs work, and then play around with some ways to transform visual elements into sound. Extending our sonic possibilities by building simple instruments from simple materials, weÕll then compose, notate and perform simple musical pieces based on KleeÕs paintings _ literally composing with images! https://youtu.be/9kxSFIa15xA
