A dynamic one-woman show celebrating the life and contributions of a great African-American—Harriet Tubman.
Following the performance of Harriet Tubman: The Chosen One, students discuss the play with the actress and playwright, Gwendolyn Briley-Strand. Gwendolyn has a wealth of knowledge about the life and times of Harriet Tubman. These discussions are a rare opportunity for the students to dialogue with an actress and a playwright about a significant time in American history.
