Guided Tour and Draw-In at Rawlings Conservatory in Druid Park

Enjoy a guided tour of the 3rd oldest public conservatory in the U.S., featuring a Desert House, Tropical Rainforest House, Mediterranean House, Orchid Room, and Palm House. Learn about plant adaptations and symbiotic relationships. Practice traditional watercolor techniques. Draw and paint your favorite plant or flower. Watercolors, clipboards, brushes, pencils, and paper are provided. Stay for a picnic in the outdoor gardens, if desired.
Can be adapted as a teacher training on science illustration or botanical art techniques and how to use art to teach about science.
