Botanical Art/Draw-In at Rawlings Conservatory in Druid Park

Enjoy a guided tour of the 2nd oldest public conservatory in the U.S., featuring a Desert House, Tropical Rainforest House, Mediterranean House, Orchid Room, Palm House, and outdoor gardens. Learn about plant adaptations, flower anatomy, symbiotic relationships, and foods from plants. Practice traditional watercolor techniques, including wash, graded wash, and dry brush. Draw and paint your favorite plant or flower. Watercolors, clipboards, brushes, pencils, and paper are provided.

Stay for a picnic in the outdoor gardens, if desired.

Dates: 2023-03-14 - 2025-11-20
Event Length: 1 and a half hours to three hours, but is flexible. The Conservatory is open 10 - 3 Thursday through Sunday.
