Culture + Crafts – Dia De Los Muretos
$175.00

With Culture + Crafts we provide arts and crafts that present creative projects that reinforce cultural education and history. Depending on the theme there may be dance, song, storytelling, and books included in the workshop. That information is provided below

::DESCRIPTION::

Sugar skulls are the popular decoration for the Latin Observance, the Day of the Dead (Dia de Los Muertos). Most recently, the Disney movie Coco has helped to place this once (percieved) spooky observance into a real-life, a relatable celebration that allows families to remember loved
ones.

There are two activities for this session (1) Story reading with a discussion [depending on age group] and (2) decorating of sugar skull masks.

Other craft projects that incorporate the celebration can can also be provided at additional cost. We are available to discuss once booked.

This event is no longer available to book.
