Chris August – Taking Poetry from the Page to the Stage

C.A.’s poetry residency is centered on the creation and performance of at least one poem. See your students enjoy writing while improving their creative writing techniques. Students work collaboratively to edit and perform their pieces and the residency culminates with a reading by students. When time allows, this performance is done in the style of a traditional poetry slam competition.
