A fun and tactile virtual workshop for all students exploring Sound Science! Designed to complement NextGen Science Learning Standards and state/local standards, this engaging and educational 45” workshop with a solo teaching artist takes students on a journey of discovery. Hands-on in-class instrument-building (using the simplest of recyclable materials) is included for maximum engagement; and illuminating video demonstrations reinforce what students are hearing – and feeling – from their instruments. The program culminates in either the “Thing Jam” in which students play their instruments along with BTT performers, or a lively Q&A session. 1-4 classes can connect to a stream. https://youtu.be/6BNsMUQOKjU
