Score a home run with this inspirational musical play about America’s pastime and the other major league! Three talented performers take us through the struggles and triumphs of early African American baseball players, introducing baseball legend Satchel Paige, one of America’s foremost athlete/philosophers, as our host. Baseball greats Moses “Fleet” Walker, Andrew “Rube” Foster, the “father of black baseball” Jackie Robinson, and “Spitfire” Josh Gibson are also portrayed in this look into sports history and the civil rights movement.
