African Americans and the Early 20th Century (1900-1945)

Exploring early 20th African American History from the 1900-1945, this course will look at historical and cultural events that impacted the African American community such as the Great Migration and the Harlem Renaissance. Teachers will dialogue with regional scholars, receive course instruction on African American Journey lessons and participate in hands on educational activities.
