The 27th Maryland Film Festival (April 8-12, 2026) presents its 3rd annual Middle School Program from 9-11:30am on Wednesday, April 8. This special program is intended to provide 6-8th graders in Baltimore City Public schools with the opportunity to attend a film festival screening in the historic Parkway Theatre (5 W. North Ave).

A program of short films will be followed by a conversation between students, MdFF programmers and visiting filmmakers. Included are media literacy preparation and follow-up for educators and their students.
