The Reading & Rhythm arts-integrated residency shares how the basics and elements of tap dance (beat, rhythm, choreography, and improvisation) can be used as a tool to strengthen classroom engagement and literacy skills for learners.
Tap dance has the ability to communicate and express meaning. When this dynamic teaching tool is integrated into the classroom, it offers students a deeper learning experience allowing learners to create physical and personal connections to academic subjects.
As a Harvard University graduate and a John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts Commissioned Artist, Quynn’s work is the destination for integrating movement with academic subjects.
