“Mr. Steve” fosters excitement and enthusiasm with his assemblies by bringing your students into the action! The audience becomes part of the band from their seats AND on stage by chanting and singing simple rhythmic melodies and clapping/stomping beats! In addition to performing classic Soul, Rock, and Latin flavored songs, Steve teaches the basic elements of music (ie. pitch, tempo, etc.) as he introduces and demonstrates many percussion instruments, touching on their origins, history, geography, and the science of how these instruments make sound. The result is a joyous and educational celebration of music your school will not forget!
