Linda Whelihan is an artist and art integration specialist who aims to engage individuals, build community and provide hands-on learning through shared art experiences. In her studio, she crafts wood, paper and fabric into whimsical pieces that charm and delight. She designs inspiring professional development workshops and residencies using puppetry, murals, creative bookmaking and recycling to bring color to classroom subjects, especially social studies, math and science. Linda thrives on collaboration and loves working with classroom teachers to tailor exciting residencies specifically for their group of students.

Linda was awarded a Fulbright grant last year and spent 6 months in Kenya helping to develop hands-on curriculum with students and educators in the Maasai Mara. She’d love to share her explerience with you and your class and help forge connections with kids here and there!
