The G.U.M Squad Program (Growing Up Mindfully) is a program which teaches kids how to manage emotions, make positive choices and grow strong character from the inside out. This unique, fun and engaging program uses art to teach kids about mindfulness and how to implement mindfulness practices in everyday life.

Program Director, Ivy Baker, has been lending her support to schools in Baltimore County and Baltimore City since 2013. She acquired her training in Restorative Practice from 2018-2020 and her Teen Life Coaching certification through The Center of Social Emotional Wellness in 2018.

Ms. Baker fosters an inclusive, emotionally safe environment that nurtures the developmental needs of each youth she works with. Her magnetic personality, warmth, and optimistic outlook are welcomed by both students and educators alike.
