Animal Farm- Student Matinee (3-13-18)
$15.00

Theater is your classroom.

Student Matinees are an opportunity for students of all ages to experience professional theater in a performance all their own. All Student Matinees are followed by a post show discussion with the actors.

One day on Manor Farm, shortly before his death, an old boar named Major told the other animals about his dream. United by the realization that all animals have a common enemy—man—the animals revolted against the tyranny of forced work. They fought and gained their freedom and established a system of thought, Animalism, based on the wise words of the Major. All animals are comrades. All animals are equal.

Student matinee performances are not edited or adapted for young audiences; students get the whole performance, uncut. Tickets for these special matinees are just $15.

To further the learning experience, pre/post-performance workshops are available for purchase with your tickets. These workshops are held in selected schools and are led by our teaching artists. They allow for an in depth view into the production process, thorough discussion and reflection, and a chance to discuss careers in the arts. For more information on pre/post show workshops, please email education@centerstage.org.
