Suzanne Herbert-Forton: Embroidery Across the Curriculum Residencies

Each project is custom designed with input from teachers to suit your curriculum and budget needs. The number of sessions varies according to the project we design. Students will learn how embroidery has been used in various cultures and basic embroidery techniques. They may incorporate other areas of the fiber arts such as plant dyes, or felting. They will design and create their own embroidered illustrations. The residency can be designed as an arts integrated project. The final product can be an installation or individual works of art.
