Rockcreek Steel Drums – The Steel Drum Experience

This fun and interactive music assembly combines a steel drum performance with hands on instruction. The entire audience will learn to play a complete song on the steel drums while exploring the physics (and other STEM topics) behind the sound. This is a great introduction to the steel drum instrument. No musical background is required. Participants will gain the confidence to play other instruments in the school band. Due to the fact that this program brings steel drums for everyone to play, the audience limit for this assembly is 100 students per show.
