As storytellers, we transport our listeners to different worlds–but are you using all the resources available to you? Capture the eyes, ears and hearts of your audiences by becoming a physically expressive, dramatic storyteller. Whether you are telling a traditional fairytale, a family story for an audience or creating an original work for performance, learn how through the art of devised theater and the language of gesture. The Teaching Artist will spend 12 sessions facilitating students in a devising project. Though the exploration of various theatre styles and dramatic strategies, students will create their own original piece of work to be performed for the community.
