Empower your students to work as one! The Power of Greek Chorus is a residency that taps into the power of communicating as group. Students will explore their vocal range as a group through heightened dramatic circumstances, and learn how to visually communicate an idea using the dynamic arrangement of bodies. Groups will express poetic imagery physically through an exploration of both Greek choral poetry and the individual’s relationship to their community. Duration is flexible; this can be a two hour workshop, a week long residency or even longer. In a longer residency (six or more 60-90 min sessions), students will create their own Greek choruses about a topic relevant to their own lives.
