Program / Event Details

Use the Walters Art Museum’s collection, work with teaching artists, and create arts-integrated lessons in this professional development course co-led by the Walters Art Museum and Young Audiences. You will spend time in the Walters’ galleries, experience an arts-integrated lesson by a Young Audiences teaching artist, and brainstorm with other educators about arts integration. We encourage you to apply with another teacher of a different discipline (arts with non-arts teacher). Upon completion, you will receive 1 MSDE Reading and Math credit or 1 BCPSS AU credit (pending continued approval). This program is available annually in June, or upon request from school districts and other groups.
