This versatile puppet residency can connect to the curriculum in limitless ways depending on the priorities of the school. Students are challenged to take creative risks, solve problems, and share ideas as they learn to communicate with puppets. Students work together to bring a folktale, poem, or original story to life as a puppet play, creating puppets from simple materials, then add props and scenery to help tell their story.
