Learn techniques for supporting students’ development of reading and writing skills in this professional development workshop. Storytelling, drama, dance, and creative writing can both motivate students and enhance understanding of high-level vocabulary words, improve self-confidence, strengthen literacy skills, develop self-respect, and create positive group dynamics. Additionally, by dramatizing their own stories, students discover the excitement and power in knowing how to transform a spoken language into a written story.
