In this theatre assembly, Carolyn uses storytelling and puppetry in a humorous and imaginative way to retell three Native American legends—“The Talking Stone,” “The North Star,” and “The Wind Spirit.” Each story is a teaching tool that fosters a curiosity among students about the environment and our place in the natural world.
Want to schedule The Talking Stone, but want to present Carolyn to students older than third grade? Consider adding a second performance of The Knee High Man on the same day. The Knee High Man is perfectly suited for fourth and fifth graders.
