Noa Baum – Ancient Glories: Stories from Mythology

This assembly connects students to how people “watched movies” thousands of years ago: the ancient art of storytelling, listening and imagining. Noa introduces students to the idea that myths are used to highlight universal values and ethical responsibility. Through these myths, she invites students to make personal connections, consider their own values in the world and how they make choices. She uses song and audience participation to truly engage students in picturing the stories in their minds. Choose from:
