Channel Me Media (CMM) empowers scholars and the community through student led film and art projects to encourage them and build leadership, research, and creativity skills. This will be accomplished by documenting and exploring the achievements of residents within their communities and thereby developing an outlet for minority media arts through responsible use of social media, the internet and local television stations.

The goals and mission of Channel Me Media are to encourage, promote entrepreneurial thinking, and empower youth to expand their knowledge of the media industry through research and hands-on documentary projects. Our goal is to inspire young people to pursue a career in the media profession and also improve their quality of life by offering encouragement and exposure to positive opportunities to learn about their history, network with community leaders, and learn about the media industry and the many career paths that exist within it. Channel Me Media also provides mentorship opportunities and peer consulting in an effort to provide youth with the tools, skills, and support necessary as they matriculate through middle school, high school, college, and on into adulthood. And all of these skills transfer and are the most engaging efforts in a virtual space. In this new world we live in students are really benefiting from learning to express themselves through content creation using the worlds biggest media mediums.
