Let’s Talk
$2,500.00

In communities across the country our children are rarely consulted on issues that affect them daily. However, Hip Hop has offered the youth a safe space for speaking up. One of the most important aspects of the culture, knowledge, and how to share it is where our youth learn to participate in important discussions that affect their community.

This program captures the desire of our youth to advocate for themselves and there community use that momentum to help students master information, and encourage them to become social entrepreneurs.

Students will:
– Learn about a relevant topic through interviews, documentaries and more
– Verify facts learned and create a vocabulary basis
– Analyze the information
– Debate and discuss using the verified information
– Gain new skills for advocating and articulating facts around an issue they care about
