Learning about healthy eating is essential to living a full and active life. We want to make sure youth begin to get the information as early as possible in a fun way.
Components of the session are:
1. Demonstration + Engagement Activity: Fruit, veggie, and other healthy food recognition
2. Fun Reinforcements: Coloring sheets of fruit to help build skills and recognition of what healthy food looks
like
3. Demonstration + Engagement Activity: Sugar count in everyday items (like candy, ketchup, etc.).
4. Physical Engagement Activity: Modified game of red light/ green light where kids WALK when a healthy food shown
and STOP when a food they should seldom eat is shown
