Art Meets Math

Students will create abstract paintings and drawings based on math equations including arrays, distributive property, and fractions. They will study Sol Lewitt and other contemporary painters to learn the about the elements of art such as line, color, form, shape and value then they will apply the math and art skills to a final piece of art.
