Peace Heroes
Students learn about significant people (past and present) who have worked towards promoting peace and encouraging positive environmental and social behaviors. Example peace heroes include Martin Luther King, Jr., Wangari Maathai and Mother Theresa. Students then create work in response to the peace hero’s cause or country of origin.
