Students in the 7th grade have hour long classes, so this workshop would need to take place on December 2nd and 4th for maybe 45 minutes each (so that clean up is included in the process). Students will have some technical drawing and design skills because they will be doing a shoe design unit in the few weeks before the actual workshop. I would like the emphasis for the workshop to be less on the drawing (since they will have experience with that) and more about learning about painting their logos and shoes, expressing their branding ideas and concepts through creative writing and collaboration.
