Mural Art Tours Baltimore offers a captivating virtual field trip experience through original film showcasing the murals of the Station North Arts and Entertainment District. Led by Liz Miller, a guide with an MFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) and 25 years of teaching experience, this immersive tour explores the vibrant stories behind Baltimore’s most iconic street art. Through live or recorded commentary, Liz provides detailed insights about the murals, including artist names, the movements behind the artwork, and the cultural significance of each piece. The presentation is interactive, with thoughtful questions woven throughout to engage students, followed by a live Q&A session where students can ask questions and dive deeper into the artistic process. Tailored to meet educators’ needs, this virtual field trip can be customized to fit various grade levels and timeframes, offering a dynamic way for students to learn about contemporary art, urban culture, and public art movements.
