A photography residency led by teaching artist from Wide Angle Youth Media. The curriculum for this workshop aligns with National Core Standards and National Core Arts Standards for Media Arts. and also supports a learning environment focused on building youth media skills, public speaking, and improving teamwork. Throughout this two day workshop, students will learn the basic concepts of photography such as framing, lighting, and color vs b&w usage, design, how to make a statement, and create a postcard that will encapsulate their statements on resiliency during the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on their visibility.
