This workshop explores the concept of inspiration and the creative process through the art – and music – of Bauhaus artist Paul Klee. A talented violinist himself, KleeÕs paintings are filled with allusions to dreams, poetry and music. We’ll discover the musical elements in Klee’s work, and then play around with some ways to transform visual elements into sound. Extending our sonic possibilities by building simple instruments from simple materials, we’ll then compose, notate and perform simple musical pieces based on Klee’s paintings _ literally composing with images! https://youtu.be/9kxSFIa15xA
