Bring your students on a guided Nature hike and short tour of historic Cylburn mansion and the Nature Education Center.

Learn about pollination. Identify parts of a flower.

Learn about the history of botanical art. Learn about science illustration careers and education pathways.

Practice watercolor techniques. Draw and paint flowers, seed pods, or leaves from life, outside in the gardens, or inside (in inclement weather) in the Greenhouse Classroom. Watercolors, clipboards, brushes, pencils, and paper are provided. Stay for a picnic in the outdoor gardens, if desired.

Can also be booked as a teacher training on science illustration or botanical art techniques and art integration into science classes.
