Side Walk Ring
$775.00

We have to go outside for this one! Participants will measure and cut a piece of metal to be the perfect size for a ring. They will then use a process called annealing to soften the metal. Once our metal is soft we will take our hammers outside where we will use the texture of the sidewalk/parking lot to decorate our metal. Then form our rings. If time allows, students may patina (blacken) and wax their rings.

Student maximum: 28

*NOTE: the quoted price of this workshop is the rate for running the course within our studio.
If this workshop is needed off-site, there will be an additional fee of $75 for transportation of materials and tools.

*NOTE: this workshop can not be held off-site due to annealing torch access and patina chemicals.

Also, please use the “special requests” box to let us know more about your students.
Is there anything you would like us to know about your students or what you have been working on at school that might apply to this workshop?
